Warmth for a defender!
Veteran assistants at the "I'Mariupol" centres work daily with the military, veterans and their families, helping to resolve urgent issues and find the necessary resources. This support is especially important for those currently serving.
In Chernivtsi, a serving soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yevhen from Mariupol, contacted a veteran assistant. He needed a warm blanket. The centre's team quickly found and delivered warm bedding, pillows and a set of bed linen – everything necessary to ensure the basic comfort of our defender.
Such stories remind us every day that the initiative works because people who care are here to help. Assistance to the military is not a formality, but real support for those who defend Ukraine.
With deep gratitude and respect, we continue to support our defenders, doing all that we can for their well-being.
As a reminder, the activities of the "I'Mariupol" centres and the Mariupol City Council in the area of veteran policy are part of the overall "Power Place" project, which covers active military personnel, veterans, their families, as well as the families of those killed, captured and missing.
