Mariupol residents can join the Centre for Unity and National Resistance of Donetsk region

The Centre for Unity and National Resistance of Donetsk region continues its activities even in the midst of a large-scale war. It prepares citizens for the challenges of war by providing vital knowledge that can save lives.

Since its launch, the Centre has been conducting free training courses that provide the necessary skills ranging from the basics of mine safety to first aid skills. These are not just lectures, but training that can be crucial in a critical moment.

Mine safety training has become the basis for creating a culture of survival in wartime. The Centre's training courses not only inform people about the types of explosive objects, but also give clear instructions how to act in case the danger is near. Such knowledge helps to avoid tragedies and save lives, which is the ultimate goal of any educational initiative.

Pre-medical care is no less important. In situations when emergency services cannot always arrive on time, basic medical skills can turn an ordinary citizen into a lifesaver. Bleeding, wounds, respiratory arrest — these are not just medical terms, but real situations encountered by residents of frontline areas.

Participating in these training initiatives is not only a way to protect yourself, but also a powerful expression of active citizenship.
