Support that saves lives: "I'Mariupol" delivered first aid kits to front-line defenders

In Kropyvnytskyi, the team of the "I'Mariupol" centre delivered medical first aid kits to the medical unit of the 107th separate territorial defence brigade.

The aid is intended to strengthen the capabilities of the medics who work daily in high-risk areas.

Among the defenders is Ksenia, who, together with her comrades, saves lives on the front line. Working in conditions of constant shelling and risk, she turned to the Veterans' Assistant with a request to help with essential medical supplies to provide emergency care to the wounded.

"We need a lot of consumables, and they are all critically important. The first aid kit empties very quickly, so this support is invaluable to us. When needed, we will have the means to stop bleeding and stabilise the wounded. Thank you for your help," says Ksenia.

Delivery of this batch of modern first aid kits to the front line became possible thanks to the partnership between Vadym Boichenko's team and volunteer organisations.

Each first aid kit is equipped with everything necessary to save lives: tourniquets, haemostatic agents, bandages, wound dressings, scissors and gloves.

As a reminder, the activities of the "I'Mariupol" centres and the Mariupol City Council  in the area of veteran policy are part of the overall "Power Place" project, which covers active military personnel, veterans, their families, as well as the families of those killed, captured and missing.
