A reliable circle of our partners: Caritas supports the people of Mariupol
Thanks to close cooperation with the "Caritas" Charitable Foundation, "I'Mariupol" centres create opportunities for various types of support for Mariupol residents raging from hygiene kits to workshops for children.
Specifically, in Kryvyi Rih, the charity distributed men's hygiene kits. Men aged 70+ and people with disabilities were able to receive support.
"It's a great support that allows us to save our budget. After all, the cost of hygiene is quite high these days," said Mr Anatoly.
In Zaporizhzhia and Kalush, "Caritas" specialists held some events for children. In the children's room of the Zaporizhzhia centre, an interactive lesson was dedicated to mine safety. Boys and girls learned how to act in situations where they see an explosive object. They also learned which emergency services to contact.
The Kalush centre held a clay modelling workshop combined with a talk on stress prevention. Participants had a chance not only to learn new modelling techniques, but also to create their own unique clay products. It provided a great opportunity for creative expression as well as a break from everyday worries.
The team of the Mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boichenko, is expanding the circle of partners and creating conditions for Mariupol residents to receive comprehensive support.
