The Community Recovery Academy’s second intake is now open

We are inviting local government representatives from all over Ukraine who seek to develop their communities to join the training programme. It is based on the unique experience of the Mariupol Reborn project and the expertise of leading Ukrainian and international specialists.

The educational programme includes offline and online training in five modules:

Community strategy: analysing community potential and development planning
Economic modelling, city and territory recovery
Strategy for strengthening human capital and community communication policy
Project resources, investment attraction
Demand for justice

Registration is open until 31 August. You can find out more about the Academy here.

The training runs from October 2025 to April 2026. The best students will be able to continue their studies at one of Ukraine's leading universities.

The Community Recovery Academy, founded by the Association of Ukrainian Cities and the NGO "Mariupol.Reborn", aims to train municipal managers for the reconstruction and development of Ukraine. The academic partners of the project are the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Metinvest Polytechnic.
