A delegation from Switzerland highly rated the work of the I'Mariupol network

A Swiss delegation led by the Head of the National Council of the Swiss Federal Assembly, Maja Riniker, and the Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine, Felix Baumann, visited the I'Mariupol centre in Vinnytsia. They were introduced to the centre’s work and gave high praise to the support facility for Mariupol residents.

The head of the centre, Dimitri Golubchenko, said that the centre not only provides humanitarian, legal, psychological and medical support. Its main goal is to help Mariupol residents adapt to their new city and to preserve unity within our community.

"The team of Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko managed to build an extensive network of support centres, medical hubs and a project to create social housing for the most vulnerable categories of Mariupol residents. All this supports people and enables them to integrate into new communities and fulfil their potential in new living conditions," said the head of the centre.

Dimitri Golubchenko also conveyed words of gratitude from Vadym Boichenko's team to the Swiss Government for its assistance in opening the I'Mariupol centre in Vinnytsia in 2022. The delegation thanked everyone for their hospitality and wished for continued success in supporting Mariupol residents.

At the end, the guests were given a souvenir to remember the city of Mariupol — a stained-glass piece showing the Mariupol Tower.
