Peculiarities of musical culture in Western Ukraine and its impact on the child's psyche

As part of the project "Assistance to IDPs in the Western Region through Local Partnerships», the "I'Mariupol" Centre hosted a group psychological event for children. It was about music therapy, the topic read as "Peculiarities of musical culture in Western Ukraine and its impact on the child's psyche".  

The young participants could plunge into the world of Western Ukrainian melodies. 

During the event, kids not only listened to traditional music, but also participated in interactive activities, developing their emotional perception through rhythm and melody. 

With the help of breathing exercises and calm musical pauses, they were able to relax, relieve emotional stress and feel the harmony of sounds.

The project is being implemented by the "I'MARIUPOL" Charitable Foundation within the framework of the programme "Assistance to IDPs in the Western Region through Local Partnerships" of the "WINGS OF HOPE" Charitable Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Czech Republic and the "Help on the spot" programme.
