Psychological care activities for Mariupol residents underway.
We continue telling you about the psychological support measures for Mariupol residents implemented by the Charitable Foundation «I’m Mariupol» with the financial support of the King Baudouin Foundation.
As a reminder, the project's target audience is Ukrainians aged 15-30 who need psychological support because of the war.
And today we would like to tell you about canisterapy.
So what is it?
Canine Assisted Therapy (from Latin canis - dog) is a method of positive psychosocial and physical rehabilitation impact on a person in need through specially guided and trained dogs.
Currently, such events are taking place in Kyiv at the dog training centre under the supervision of cynologists. Sounds interesting, doesn't it?
Usually, canine-assisted therapy classes are held in groups of up to 10 people on Saturdays. So if you are studying or working, you can take advantage of this great opportunity to improve your psycho-emotional state.
The next canisterapy session will take place on Saturday, 9 November, so hurry up and sign up.

In addition to useful skills to support mental health, each participant will receive cool gifts from the organisers, such as a branded T-shirt, a shopper, an eco-notebook with a pen and a cool sticker pack.
In addition, the project has developed an innovative mobile application called Melty, the functionality of which can already be tested in the web version and on Android – https://melty.com.ua/
This will help to make the first important step for those who are not yet ready to join offline events.
Please join us, we will be glad to see you!
