Start of distribution of backpacks to first-graders

On 1 August, on the initiative of the Mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boichenko, "I'Mariupol" centres will start distributing supplies to first-graders from the Mariupol Territorial Community.

Families whose children will enter the first year of school will receive a backpack with stationery, notebooks, a creative kit and other necessary supplies. This is all they need to start their first school year in their new communities.

 "We are doing everything for Mariupol children to make them feel cared for and keep in touch with their hometown. They deserve a better future," said Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko.

In order to receive the kit, one of the parents should contact the "I'Mariupol" centre with the following list of documents:

-an application (the form and sample are available at the "I'Mariupol" centre)

-a copy of the passport of one of the parents, if it is an ID card - a registration document is required (a photocopy and an original)

-a copy of the child's birth certificate

-a TIN (photocopy and original) of the adult and child

-an original certificate of the educational institution regarding the child's enrolment in the first grade in 2024
