We support our defenders in hospitals!

Supporting our defenders is one of the main areas of focus for the team of Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko. Our centres are actively working to make camouflage nets, help families of the military and prisoners of war. They also visit heroes in hospitals.
In particular, in Kyiv, they visited a defender released from captivity and undergoing medical treatment in a hospital. They also agreed to transfer books collected by Mariupol residents to our wounded heroes.
In Khmelnytskyi, the team of the I'Mariupol centre, together with children, visited a hospital where the Ukrainian military are receiving treatment. They handed over books collected by Mariupol residents as part of the "Give a Book to a Defender" campaign initiated by the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
Moreover, thanks to the efforts of the Veterans' Assistant at the Kyiv Left Bank Centre, partners were found to help the family of a soldier who recently had a newborn daughter. A set for the newborn was handed over as a small but sincere gesture of gratitude.
The orphans of the deceased military were given sweets to warm their hearts a little. In addition, thanks to caring partners, the families of defenders received children's bedding.
