Mariupol to the frontline! 76 camouflage nets woven by Mariupol residents in August

Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko's team has set up locations for weaving camouflage nets at "I'Mariupol" support centres. People of Mariupol are joining this initiative across Ukraine. In August alone, they made 76 nets, which is 1,824 m2 of camouflage material. In total, since the beginning of 2024, 640 nets have been handed over to the military from Mariupol residents.

Above is a photo from the first border guard detachment showing the nets they received. They work for our protection, and we are deeply grateful to them.

As a reminder, we are currently raising funds to buy the materials for the nets so that this work can continue.  We still need to raise 9 thousand hryvnias.
